Scope of Duties: Monitors the ongoing activities on assigned wells and reservoirs to investigate and recommend solutions to short-term oil production anomalies or short-falls and develop proposals and schedules for completion, stimulation, workover and related testing and logging requirements to optimize production and operational efficiency. Carries out various technological studies in team or individual evaluations of optimum oil and gas recovery mechanisms. Collects required data to simulate and study effects of proposed project through numerical analysis and closely liaises with other team members and contractors to obtain new test data and review progress and findings. When assigned to undeveloped fields, participates in the preparation of design concepts for wells and facilities and developing scenarios for operating the field over the life cycle of the development. Including preparing estimates for well, facilities capital expenditure and related operating expenses.
Minimum Requirements: B. Sc. in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent. 6-8 years wide Petroleum Engineering experience (with strong experience in drilling operations).

Maintenance Optimization Manager

Scope of Duties: Utilities to corporate Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to synchronize maintenance scheduling of fields & terminal in order to minimize shutdown frequencies, improve reliability and optimize availability of equipment & facilities.
Utilizes PIES system and SPARK model to synchronize fields’ production activities in order to improve product availability. Collates fields’ and terminal’s balanced scorecards (BSC), develops the Operation Function’s BSC and presents the same to Operations Management Team; highlighting warnings / deviations and recommending corrective actions. Coordinates and ensures all fields trials requirements are carried out in line with company’s procedures.

Understands and promotes the company’s health, safety & environmental policy and objectives; performs work in accordance with the company’s established rules, regulations and approved procedures; intervenes to stop unsafe acts and practices; and is accountable for the well being and safety of own self and others, including all contracted labor force – unskilled, semiskilled, and skilled;
Plans, directs and actively participates in the ongoing training development of self and subordinates with special emphasis on UAE Nationals. This includes assessing employees’ training and development needs, directing the preparation of structured development programs, monitoring progress and counseling trainees on alternative career paths and job profiles available in the company;
Manages and controls the activities of assigned personnel in the team. Performs supervisory functions and exercises financial authority in accordance with the delegation of authority manual;
Leads initiatives to identify opportunities that will contribute to the enhancement of fields/terminal asset management, operating costs, reliability and availability.
Leads studies aimed at analyzing operational chronic problems and bottlenecks, and develops sound and practical recommendations for remedial actions.
Utilizes available systems, models, and tools such as MAXIMO (3MS), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Reliability Availability Maintenance (RAM)… etc, to develop and promote the annual and five-year Maintenance Optimization (MO) Plan; as well as the 25-year Full Field Development Plan.
Utilizes available systems, models, and tools such as MAXIMO (3MS); Production, Injection, and Export System (PIES); Production Availability model (SPARK); …etc, to develop and promote annual Product-Availability Improvement (PAI) Plan.
Manages the development of the Operation Function’s Balanced Scorecards (BSC) and presents the same to the Operation Management Team (OMT) highlighting deviations /warnings, and recommends actions to close the gaps.
Maintains frequent contacts with fields/terminal Maintenance and Operation managers to facilitate the implementation of the MO and PAI plans, and resolve issues encountered during daily operations regarding maintenance, production and use of related systems / models.
Maintains frequent contacts with Planning and Support Services managers in fields/terminal to collate and scrutinize their respective BSCs in order to compile and develop the Operation Function’s BSC.
Provides technical support to subsurface teams in Reservoir Development Division regarding well-testing activities and verification of related data.
Liaises with the Center of Excellence manager, in Existing Development Function, on surface technologies; e.g. Surface controlled subsurface safety valves (SCSSS), multiphase flow meters..etc; with potential impact on subsurface activities to mitigate adverse effects.
Provides technical support to Area Engineering managers, in the Engineering and Major Projects Division, on projects related to fields/terminal upgrades. Ensures that correct standards and procedures are used adhered to.
Maintains regular contacts with maintenance and production department managers in GASCO to synchronize shutdowns in order to minimize down time and maximize production opportunities.
Updates and maintains the Operating Procedures Manuals and the Production Operations Maintenance Manual.
Reviews the companys maintenance philosophy in order to minimizing costs, meet safety and environmental goals, and meet operational targets.
Minimum Requirements: B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering
International certification in Reliability Centered Maintenance or equivalent

Scope of Duties: Coordinates and supervises the installation, maintenance, repair, calibration, trouble-shooting and modification activities carried out on a wide range of instrumentation equipment and associated control systems, distribution control systems (DCS), PLC, (SCADA) and communication equipment in the oil/gas industries. Provides technical advice and supervises the implementation of predictive, preventive, corrective, modification and major shutdown maintenance programmes to ensure optimum facilities availability and reliability. Establishes requirements for major repairs or replacement of spare parts. Participates in the planning and implementation of all systems installation, commissioning, modifications and expansion. Ensure all activities are carried out in a safe, timely efficient and cost effective manner. Follow up the CPP Instrument & Control Section’s capital and operating budget; regularly monitors and controls expenditures to within allowable variances

Coordinates with NEB CPP Operations & other Support Department to ensure that NEB production/injection targets and export product requirements are met at maximized production/injection/exports. Takes charge and handle any problems or emergencies occurring in Instrument & Control workshop. Involve with I-field team, and other departments in COMPANY to develop operating approaches and working practices that leverage level of implemented automation.
Minimum Requirements: B.Sc. degree in Instrumentation or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
7 years experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of electronic, pneumatic and microprocessor based instrumentation, process control systems and DCS/SCADA systems.
Very good knowledge of written and spoken English.
Valid U.A.E driving license is an advantage.
